Introduction The transition from the budget model of healthcare system to compulsory social health insurance has created a competitive environment among hospitals in Kazakhstan. Managers are interested introducing most effective new technologies. Implementation technology assessment (HTA) process Kazakhstan began 2010 but few managers have structure for HTA development their hospitals. Our aim was identify issues implementation technologies Methods Structured interviews were held with hospital and physicians June 2020, September 2021. In first stage, needs considered. second impact COVID-19 on introduction addressed. Interviews on-line by mobile phone or zoom lasted 25-30 minutes. Results involved 8 14 5 noted respondents both groups. Only had been trained HTA. Hospital staff lacked time experience preparing applications national unit could not meet deadlines. use hospitals’ short-term timeframes within existing policies.
